¬ Recent Media Section Added

I’m way out-of-date getting pics/vids up.  Takes so much time to clean, prep (convert from raw, cleanup and downgrade for web).  Also have an issue of my limited bandwidth for serving out content.  In order to make turn around on specific needs quicker, I’ve added a section called Recent Media listed in the menu to the right.

For now, I’ll throw less refined stuff there when asked.  Its a simpler bit of code and, although limited in function, may be what I move to.  The offset is that its hosted content so bandwidth is much better, but has a cost component vs just storing it on home servers.

Anyhoo, if you have any issues, let me know.  I’ll probably be tweaking the style and structure in the near future so if it goes wonky, just refresh the page and I’ll likely have it fixed before the refresh completes.

¬ Back Up and Running!

Well, it’s been for freaking ever, but all damage has been repaired, items moved back in and slowly getting tech stuff resitutation.

Server is backup (although I did have some fun with corrupted image disks that’s taken me a few days to sort through).  Gallery is up and full backups of everything.  Hopefully you will be seeing updated photos in the near future.

¬ Gallery Down Due to Home Repair Issue

So we had a plumbing failure in the wall of my office of which we had to rip out.  Until I can get the room fully repaired, the server is down as I currently do not have another location that I can put the web server… well, a place that would be free of the kids jumping around and one that the wife wouldn’t be annoyed by the sound… I swear she can hear the wings on a fly!

Anyway, plumbing’s repaired, wall is twice as insulated as it was, additional electrical put in… I just need to get the drywall up.

I’m also about a full year behind on getting images uploaded… I think in the realms of 15GB of images.
